This 14th edition of Nuit Blanche artistically echoes elements of the international Climate Change Conference (COP21) which will take place in Paris in December.
Head for the Right Bank to discover the different sides of a Paris transformed along two routes: one going from Parc Monceau to the Petite Ceinture via the eco-area Clichy-Batignolles; the other running from the Gare du Nord to Aubervilliers as well as to Paris City Hall and the surrounding area. Twenty-three emerging or internationally renowned artists have been invited by José-Manuel Gonçalvès, Nuit Blanche's Artistic Director for the second consecutive year, to change the face of Paris for one night, or longer... With monumental works, performances, and sound and visual installations, this new edition of Nuit Blanche promises to be immersive, aquatic, and atmospheric.
And alongside the official artistic offerings, other projects put on by arrondissement city halls, museums, galleries, not-for-profit organisations, and individuals supported by the City of Paris complete the artistic routes.
Although this year's focus is on the Right Bank, the whole of Paris is taking part in Nuit Blanche, with over 130 artistic projects in total!
